Many members will be in Stanford for the entire week, and thus be
able to get on with the actual work of applying the MDI data. For that
purpose we should have access to a good number of workstations,
X-terminals, etc.
If you are interested in attending this meeting please contact
Jesper Schou (jschou@solar.Stanford.EDU) or Sasha Kosovichev
(akosovichev@solar.Stanford.EDU) as soon as possible.
Rooms for the meeting can be reserved at two local hotels: the Hotel
California and the Stanford Terrace Inn. A small room for one person
at the Hotel California is $57 per night, including continental breakfast.
A room with two queen beds at the Stanford Terrace is $96 for one person
or $106 for two, also including continental breakfast. Both hotels are
close to bus stops for Stanford's complimentary shuttle, the "Marguerite."
If you would like a room reserved in your name at either of these hotels,
please send e-mail or FAX to Margie Stehle
(e-mail: mstehle@solar.stanford.edu
FAX: 415-725-2333), including
your dates of arrival and departure and a credit card number.
Information on other local hotels can be found on the Places to Stay page.
Below is the agenda for the inversion mini workshop. We are planning
to start in the morning at 0900 (with doughnuts etc. at 0845) and
go on to somewhere between 1100 and 1200. We will start again in
the afternoon at 1400 and go on to 1600 or 1700. We have not set
exact times for the various contributions and hope that there will
be time for discussions both during these times and around lunch.
