FTP Interface Help EXIT BUTTON Does a clean exit of the FTP interface. HELP BUTTON: Displays this file. DELETE BUTTON: Moves a fileset (information file and command files) to the directory /mdisw/load/error GMT: The current date/time is displayed continuously here for purposes of comparison with the data/time of the uplink window for the filesets to FTP. 'FILESETS TO FTP' TEXT WINDOW: Lines are displayed here in the following format: BCK MDI00001 - csl.exd - Win: 1995/09/15 01:02 22.37 hrs, 2 files DEL MDI00002 - ipfc1006.exd - Win: 1995/09/17 06:05 02.12 hrs,80 files 'CONNECTED/NOT CONNECTED' status: FTP_NOW BUTTON: If the message 'NO FILES SELECTED' appears then there are no fileset lines highlighted in the top text window indicating that a fileset is selected for FTP. To select a fileset click the left mouse button over a line and the line will become highlighted. If the message 'NO ELIGIBLE FILES SELECTED' appears then there are lines highlighted in the top text window indicating that the filesets are selected but all the selected filesets have errors and are therefore not eligible to be FTPed. To allow the eligible files to be FTPed just click on the ineligible filesets (the filesets that were reported as being in error) and the fileset lines will become unhighlighted indicating that they are now deselected. Hit the 'FTP_NOW' button again and the passcode prompt window will appear. Look at the back of your ACE SecurID card and check the serial number against the default serial number displayed where the screen says: SECURID CARD SELECTED: A-720168. If you are using a different SecurID card then hold down the left mouse button on the displayed serial number and release the button when the cursor is over the serial number of the card you are going to use. The new serial number should be displayed. The user name and PIN number are read from a database file and will be sent directly to the remote host computer. 'FTP RESULTS' TEXT WINDOW: TBD OTHER OPTIONS: To view an information file: Double click on an information file line with the left mouse button. If the fileset was not selected then it will be selected and the view window will be created. If the fileset was selected then it will be deselected and the view window will be created. Select filesets using the left mouse button. When done selecting click on the 'FTP_NOW' button.
