Title: ============== Comparison of SOI and GONG Time Series Lead Investigator: ======= Jim Pintar Technical Summary: ================== Mode coefficient time series from velocity images will be compared. This will require calibrated velocity images in camera coordinates, parameters that describe the limb of the images, and information or data that can be used to estimate the MTF for the images. Proposal Text: ======================= This is a continuation of the comparison of GONG and SOI p-mode data products that began before the recent AGU meeting. We plan to take a 24-hour time series of SOI images, correct the images for any p-angle descrepancy relative to the GONG images, and then generate the 24-hour mode coeffienct time series and compare these with the 24-hour time series from the GONG network.
