Isorotation of the Internal Magnetic Field
K.M. Hiremath
Using the internal rotation (Dziembowski and Goode 1989), we
(Hiremath and Gokhale 1995) have shown that the poloidal component of
the steady (varying on diffusion time scales) part of the magnetic
field in the Sun's radiative core and convection zone can be modeled as
an analytical solution of the equation of magnetic diffusion. In that
model, internal magnetic field is scaled to the asymptotic uniform
external field. We want to confirm and extend beyond the afore
mentioned model from the internal rotation inferred from the SOHO
observations. We want to achieve this aim in two stages. For the direct
method, inverted rotational results and for the indirect method,
observed rotational splittings data are required.
