Technical Summary:
The general objectives of our project are given in SOHO JOP50. We are investigating the smallest filaments (10-20 arcsec), which form and erupt on a 1-2 hour time scale in the quiet Sun. These are numerous enough to expect 2-6 per 8 hour day in a 6x6 arcmin FOV, so no specific targeting will be done. We are interesed in following these filaments from formation through eruption. They tend to form in association with coverging/ canceling flux features, so it is a priority to obtain both magnetic field and photospheric flow data. For the September run we will combine our JOP with one led by Karen Harvey (on cancelling flux).
