NAME
mkgong - make and optionally run a gong pipe map file
SYNOPSIS
mkgong [-m] [-Oname] input_dir day_number gong_site
DESCRIPTION
mkgong is a perl script that will build a pe map file to run
mmli_svc (map making language interpreter server) with
appropriate parameters according to the input directory, day
number (e.g. 941030) and gong site (e.g. fevci) given. This
map file will then be executed to run the mmli_svc which
will generate a gong pipe map file from the mml in the data-
base for the dataseries
prog:gongdata,level:lev1.5,series:gong_v. This gong pipe map
file is then optionally executed. The gong map file runs
through to the lnu server.
mkgong lives in /home/soi/CM/script.
OPTIONS
-m Make but do not run the gong pipe map file.
-Oname
The Oracle database to use. The default is mdi_1X.
