This is a flow map inferred from Time-Distance analysis of a portion ot the MDI high-resolution field. The observations were made on 27 Jan 1996 as part of the verification of the high-resolution Doppler observation capability. This image has been provided to ESA for release as part of the First Results From SOHO press briefing on 2 May 1996. The results from a first inversion of this analysis was presented at the AAS-SPD meeting in Madison in June 1996.
